Can I get legal aid in France for a UK divorce?

Hi, has anyone had legal aid in France to get a solicitor for a UK divorce please? I can't get it in the UK as not resident there.

I don't think so, no.
I believe it has to be for legal proceedings in France or the EU.
Perhaps the British consulate can advise you on this.

Has your husband started proceedings in the UK? Because otherwise, you have to live in England to be able to divorce there.

I've started the divorce process in the UK because husband is "habitually resident" in UK, so that's OK. I've had a couple of DMs so I'll reply to those. Thank you.
