What should I expect at a child arrangements court hearing?

I’ve got a court date next week with regards to a child arrangement order. What to expect please? My ex made a lot of false allegations towards me in the child impact report which I’ve had to respond to. I’m so nervous and no idea what to expect on the day. My solicitor will cross examine the person who carried out the report as it was so flawed.

What happens on the day? Apparently it is 3 hours long! I’m so nervous 😬

Prepare some thing to say. You may be asked about your response, any allegations made against you and what you would like the outcome to be and the reasons why. Your ex would have put in his position statement what he is asking for in regards to contact.

Its not a nice process. I did it without a solicitor.
Your solicitor should have prepped upu on wjay to expect. If its first time in court should just be a directions hearing. They may ask for a welfare report from CAFCASS as there are allegations which will take a while.
