It’s not brand new, but I haven’t really seen it talked about much here, so I thought I’d start a conversation. What do you think about Lily Allen’s new album “West End Girl”?
With everything going on in my own life right now (I’m going through a divorce, though not related to infidelity), I actually found parts of it quite emotionally relatable. There’s something very raw and honest about it, and I think it’s genuinely well-written and a solid piece of music overall. I’ve even ended up buying a ticket to her concert.
I know some people are saying she’s done questionable things in the past and somehow “deserves” what she went through—but I’m not sure it’s that simple. Life’s rarely that black and white. If anything, I feel quite glad to see her turning a difficult experience into something creative and meaningful.
