At what point did you decide enough was enough?

Just that really. Was there a deciding moment? What gave you the push? Did you say it out loud to them immediately or plan and do it quietly?

When a comment was made that really made it clear where I stood.
Didn’t take immediate action or react at the time but internally it was the beginning of the absolute end

When I decided that it would be the last time I went to bed sobbing because he had just screamed at me over something that was “my fault” and when i realised I do it on my own most of the time anyway so I might as well be single

I read online something along the lines of " Imagine 20 years into the future, would you regret staying in your marriage". The answer was an absolute yes hence decision to divorce. It had been on the cards for years but fear/ guilt/ kids stopped me. Got there eventually though!
