I need to make a will, and am considering appointing two of my 16 year old's older siblings as guardians and asking for one to be a joint tenant in our HA home even though my ex husband is still alive, as he is older and a drinker and they live with me 100% by choice.
I also want to take out life insurance to ensure all my children have some financial support until their mid twenties if i die in the next 5-10 years.
I don't have any property or financial assets and I'm also wondering if taking out life insurance into my 70s would be worth it, to ensure they "inherit" someting from me to help them.(My dependents' pension pay out would be tiny)
Any experience/advice would be great-just beginning to think about where to start with it all.
