Mediation but ex not showing up to see child

Hi all
Have recently started mediation with my ex who has been unbelievably inconsistent in our childs life since we split 2 years ago. We have only just gone through in initial stage of mediation but while this is going on he is still not showing up on his contact days to see our child?!!

2 weeks now in a row he has not shown up.

Is there any point in continuing going forward with mediation if even with this going on he cannot stick to his one day a week agreed contact?

So frustrating and at my witts end tbh.

Do you follow up each time in writing? Send an email.

We have only done the Miam so far, first proper meeting is soon!

Should I email the mediator to tell her about this, I don't see it making a difference?
