I called the HMCTS helpline yesterday to ask about the progress of my final order which I’ve been waiting for since beginning of April. I told the guy on the phone it was my silver wedding anniversary and the best present I could receive would be a divorce 😄
He looked up my case and said ‘how weird! The judge signed and stamped your order 5 minutes ago.”
I think the gods were smiling on me 😄 but he did say that it may take 3-4 weeks more for the email to reach me as the team need to do whatever they do. I thought I’d post here because that info may be useful to people waiting on theirs. But hey, happy silver wedding anniversary to me!
