Conditional order granted today - financial order to be added

Hi all

We've received the certificate today by email that the conditional order has been read in court today and granted. It says from 2nd June, we can apply for the final order however my ex has hired a solicitor to add a financial consent to protect his pension and savings. I've agreed to the terms and happy for him to do this.

Does anyone know if this adds a lot more time to the process? Could the 2nd June final order application still be achievable even though we're adding a financial consent order?

Apparently consent orders can take up to 10 weeks but I've also read they are sometimes being stamped in 2 if they are happy with everything. I'm in the same boat as submitted the financial stuff yesterday, having already been given the conditional order 2 weeks ago and hoping I can hit the divorce button at the end of May :)

Ah! Fingers crossed that it won't much longer for us both. 😍

I've already planned a just divorced meal with my 2 best friends, really hoping we can all hit that button when we are out together lol Good luck to you x
