Hi all, seeking a bit of advice. I have applied for a divorce in October 2023 but did not submit the payment. Long story short, Im a stay at home mom and did not have the money for it after catching hubby cheat. He promised change and I was looking out for the family's best interest since I have nothing to my name.

So it's been a bit over a year and here we are again with the same woman. We been together almost 20 years, have 2 kids. I still have no money but I will use his credit card to pay for it if I have to. Can I reach out to them and carry on with the same application or do I need to create a different account to start again?

You can check the status of your divorce here

https://hmcts-access.service.gov.uk/login?client_id=divorce&response_type=code&redirect_uri=www.apply-divorce.service.gov.uk/oauth2/callback

But if it was 18 months ago and you didn't even pay then I'd assume you'll need to start again. How did you even submit it without paying?

I filled in application online, it did not ask for payment at the time. I received separate email 11 days later with a phone number to call to make the payment. By then my sister in law already persuaded me to wait and since I had no means to pay I just left it. When I log in now it says waiting for court checks.
