I want a divorce. STBXH doesn't know yet. I know he won't be amicable so I don't think a DIY job is realistic(?). I want proper advice before I talk to him and I don't know where to start.
Due to his job, he knows all the divorce/family solicitors in our area and will have a lot of help on his side. I appreciate that it's meant to be confidential but I'm still too scared to ask anyone local in case word gets back to him before I'm ready.
I remember seeing posts on here talking about good experiences with either:
- Solicitors who normally operate in a particular area but are happy to work with someone from elsewhere, do meetings on Zoom etc.
- Online-only solicitors
I didn't bookmark these threads and now can't find specific recommendations... can anyone help please?
