Witness statement for FDA

I need to draft a witness statement for upcoming First Directions Appointment.

Sorry to ask what might be a stupid question but what should this cover?

i presume it covers the range of issues I am seeking to get clarity on eg sale of property and the division of equity, maintenance pending suit (including back payments), treatment of the value of my STBXW's business, ring fencing of my pensions pre marriage etc

Should i also cover their behaviour since they asked for a divorce (refusal to divulge accurate expenditure, intercepting my emails to solicitor etc)

Hi. I think you need a position statement first which states what your position is what do you want and why - no more that 2 pages long and then you elaborate more with event, incidents, dates and evidence (explaining the evidence).
