Anyone had Reiki sessions?

A friend of mine suggested that I have a few sessions of Reiki to help me accept whats happened and start "rediscovering myself" to hopefully help me move forward. She said I'll cry as they can be emotional but that it's all part of the healing process.

Just wondering if anyone else has done this post separation/divorce and what your experience was like?

I did, when my exH left and it did really did help. I felt emotionally drained but somehow very positive about the future afterwards.

Give it a go
Nothing to lose,no side effects.
All good.
I've had it since 1997,so I've had approx 100+ treatments.
I've done my 1st and 2nd degree too.
Based in Walsall now but I could send you Reiki if this helps.

Snake oil. My batshit ndn is a reiki instructor (took an online course for a couple of weeks).
You would be better off seeing a licenced therapist.

Agree - snake oil. See also Hopi ear candles and gong baths…
