My divorce was made final today

3 days before my wedding anniversary.

Stbxh left me out of the blue back in January so this has all been very fast. And it's so hard.

Just a tiny vent.

Many years ago I kicked out my exH 12 days before our 8th wedding anniversary when I found out about the OW. I applied about 6 weeks later for a divorce and the Degree Absolute came through 3 and a half months after we had separated...all so quick as we had no kids and I had taken legal advice which was to just split everything 50/50. The divorce didn't really truly hit me until about 6 months later as I was running on adrenalin to get rid of him and his stuff and sell the house and move on etc.

You are still early on this journey so you take care of you....you will get through this. I am long over my ex, happily remarried for nearly 20 years now with teenage DC. My ex is now 57, fat and bald, and is apparently still chasing the other women despite marrying the original OW. He tried to come back to me and I just laughed at him and said NO thank you! I am well rid, you will be too. Take care.
