Submitted consent order with ex after short marriage over two months ago through his solicitor. Decided to essentially each keep what we came with, which due to very different lifestyles and upbringing, looks quite favorable to him. This is not at all a problem in real life though as I live in area with way lower cost of living and have a much more modest lifestyle. I also have a big support network and financial support from family who have enabled me to follow a creative career, whilst he has worked very hard most his adult life, never thoguht of his money as mine. The split was amicable, we just have too different lifestyles. No children or significant assets.
Consent order has come back with question from judge to confirm again that I am happy with the order to ago ahead (I guess because of the uneven split?). Have signed and submitted this last week, now I am very curious how long it might take for approval? Does it circle back, can I expect another 4-6 weeks to 2 months +?
Does anyone have an experience?
