So i have applied for Ancillary Relief order and currently going through that, so my ex has been given a court date with a schedule to give in his financial disclosure. The reason I was forced to do an ancillary relief order is because my ex wouldn't give any financial information in.
He is now asking can we do mediation and he will give all his financial disclosure into the Mediator.
So can I do mediation alongside the ancillary relief process? And then if we come to an agreement in mediation then I can stop the ancillary relief order. I honestly haven't a clue how any of this works.
Or do I have to pull out of the Ancillary Relief order to be able to do mediation? My solicitor gave me the impression that Ancillary Relief order will not stop until an agreement is made so can that agreement be made by mediation?
