Conditional order timescales - can anyone share their recent experience?

Hi, I’m hoping someone here can share their recent timescales with me.

Does anyone know the current timescales between submitting the conditional order and it being read out in court?

I applied for the conditional order 10th August and the date on the email says 5th October.

Also, is it read out in the local court or can any court do this? I‘m in South Wales.

Thanks in advance.

Applied 23 July. Being read out on 20 August. The court is hundreds of miles away from where I live.

the courts have had a huge backload since they amalgamated all the divorce courts recently. The only court now that deals with divorce in England and Wales is in Bury St Edmonds. Im assuming you are referring to the Conditional Divorce Order?

Thank you flowerfake. When did you get the email with the date of the hearing?

1 August for the HMCTS email to say it was agreed and I could log in to see the details.

did you apply for this online yourself or was there a solicitor involved?

Thank you so much. I'm hoping these timescales haven't moved much :-)
