My STBXH wanted to talk child maintenance.
He offered an amount monthly and I did the online calculator. His offer was £100 a month less than the calculator according to his earnings.
I told him this and his answer "we'll have to sort it through official channels". I said fine.
So he has contacted child maintenance, set up an account and they contacted be. Again all fine.
I don't think he realised that he can't just say to them "this is how much I am prepared to pay and she will have to accept it" haha!
So now he is having to pay the rate of their calculation and there is nothing he can do about it.
Oh this is just the icing on the cake after a somewhat nasty breakup.
Just had to share my laugh at him moment.
