Divorce really brings out the weirdest in people at times but this post is about the people NOT getting divorced and the odd things they come out with. I’ll got first:
“Are you going to move back to (insert hometown you’ve not lived in since you were 18)?”
“Do we have to worry about our husbands now hahaha?”
“I don’t get why single mums feel so sorry for themselves. You can do what you want when he has the kids.”
”You must be loaded now with all that alimony (lol) and child support”
”Oh sorry, yes we had a little party to celebrate my birthday but it was more of a couples thing”
”You look very skinny now but I suppose you’ll need that to find a new man”
and the biscuit…. “This guy is PERFECT for you (reels off what sounds like his LinkedIn profile including his earnings) …. but he’s not ready to date yet, his wife just died”
