Asking for a friend - Are there any books even online ones, that explain the ins and outs of access to an 8 year old.
Been this way her whole little life, been separated since she was 1 but her Father is extremely manipulative and nasty and attempts to turn child against her Mum at every turn. Mum is residential parent,
She needs to be able to explain Daddy has you some days, I have you others, its court ordered but he is always breaking the order ( long long story, but back to court soon) and hoping to reduce access for many reasons.
Today is Mums day, Daddy today tried to take child from minder at school today, as Mum was working and child got upset as Daddy was feeding her a story about the fun day he was going to have. Child got very upset, tonight Mum who wasn't even present at school got an email berating her for upsetting the child.
Trying to find some ways to explain it all to her little mind without telling her Daddy is an abusive prat
