I divorced over 10 years ago and moved away from exDH. New partner been on the scene for 9 years. Elder DC knows him as dad. Not married, nor do we live together (both happy with that arrangement).
DP has a Will. I don't yet. My (and his) string preference is to make him guardian of elder DC should I die first. Can I do this? He doesn't have parental responsibility. Ex-DH has parental responsibility but hasn't seen DC for a decade.
Obviously will get legal advice, but I'd like to be mulling over my options. Thank you
