In the process if divorcing, can you please help me to work out the following timing questions:

  1. How many days does it take from uploading the conditional order to being able to apply for the Final order?
  2. How many days does it take from the day of applying for the final order to the divorce being legally and financially done?

I applied for my conditional order 28th March. Got hearing date 8th may. Just came through. Now have to wait the 6 weeks and 1 day.

I’ve heard final order is very quick, like a few days.

so I should calculate ca. 12 weeks from the date of the upload of the conditional order?

However, if you need to submit the Consent Order (financials) between the Conditional and Final orders you can add several weeks on to that. My 6 weeks+1 day has sailed past and still waiting for the Consent Order to be approved.

in the process of divorcing, the timing can be crucial. Typically, after uploading the conditional order, you must wait a minimum of 43 days before you can apply for the final order. Once you apply for the final order, it usually takes about 14 days for the divorce to be legally finalized. However, the financial aspects might take longer, depending on the complexity of your financial arrangements and negotiations. For detailed legal guidance and resources, visit lawrina.
