Hi, I left my husband in France due to financial control/abuse and other relationship problems, as i'm 6 month's pregnant. 18 years together, 9 married. We married in France.

I am now living permanently back in the UK (staying with parents).

There is both UK and French property.

My divorce application was accepted by the UK court on the 19th March. 2 days later my husband's solicitor in France arranged a court summons for June for a no-fault divorce.

How likely is it that the divorce via the UK will stay? Is there anything else I should be doing?

Many thanks

No one can tell you based on the information you provided. If he disputes this you have an expensive legal dispute to fund. Then a contested divorce. You both need legal advice before you launch into this type of dispute.
