Childcare arrangements court case

Hi, can someone help me understand the process. So far:

  • Form A submitted to court
  • Safeguarding interviews complete
  • Court ordered section 7 report
  • Witness statements submitted

Do we just wait now until Cafcass contact us about completing the report? Court date April.

Is it likely that everything will be finalised on the first court date, in view of court normally following the Cafcass recommendations as per the report?

TIA

My understanding is that the first hearing sets out each parties position and things will only be finalised if their is agreement by both parties.

For my DP things were not finalised until the final hearing. There was some compromise and agreement on the final day. There were a few outstanding issues that the magistrate actually ruled on.

Has anyone had a court ordered 50/50 childcare arrangement but with NC with the other parent? Perhaps by email only for example?
