Husband left and not paying bills

My husband has left, baby and toddler, we have a mortgage which I have always paid. Since leaving he has not paid any of the debts in his name… I am worried about bailiffs coming to the house for things he is bouncing. I’ve paid all the bills in my name so my credit score is still good. I fee like I need to divorce asap to financially disconnect from him… any advice please

I would be telling any lenders that he is not known at this address so they can trace him. If you know the address tell them. They won't change it but I will pursue it until they can confirm or negate it.

You can't force him to pay any half of joint stuff sadly.

Get child support in place. Divorce his arse.

Also, you can apply to credit reference agencies to remove the link between you as well. Do that.

Mine did the same. I told him I was making an emergency ex parte application in court for his share of joint costs pending a financial arrangements order and he pulled his finger out and started paying. Good luck OP.
