I have been quoted an approximate sum of £4k by my current solicitor for drafting a financial order and everything that goes with it - with the understanding that finances are agreed/ won't be contested by husband. I currently have a conditional order.
This is excessive and I can't really afford it. I haven't seen any value from the solicitor any way since I have already paid her £2k for just a couple of meetings and drafting a letter.
Please can someone recommend a solicitor in london who could do a reasonable job and not cost the earth? Could be done remotely but still would like a recommendation, please. Am I correct that a childcare plan doesn't need to be submitted to court?
