Hello,
Longtime poster new name. Can anyone advise how to live with a cheat who has broken your heart until you're able to leave in 4months time. We have a 3month old dc. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

I feel like I keep losing my resolve and wanting to shout/talk/cry at night to him. He's so cold and just doesn't give a shit about what he's done. I really don't want it affecting our baby.

My heart goes out to you. 4 months is a very long time to live like this, can't he move out for a bit to give you some space?
My ex was in the living room on a blow up bed for 4 weeks before he moved out and that felt like a lifetime.
All I can suggest is definitely do not share a bed with him or do any of his washing or cook his meals. Also make sure he looks after the baby so you can get out and see friends, go for a walk etc otherwise being with him 24/7 will drive you mad!

I kicked mine out thank god.

Thank you @LittlePudding1 we are in separate rooms. I feel like if I stop cooking/washing for him, he will stop paying for all of the bills and food. He won't move out as he wants to have control and know where me and dc are. I can't move until the money is released from the property. He owns the majority of the property as well even though we are both on the mortgage.

Focus intently on the positives. Better to find out you're in a relationship with a loser sooner than later. Not only do you have a lot more to look forward to after the split (most cheats are losers who feel sorry for themselves) but you'll also find over the next 4 months, if you focus, you can move from broken heart to don't care.

I’m really sorry to hear this. This happened to me pretty much same age DC. I managed 5 months living under same roof before I moved out. Ex acted really badly towards me and was really controlling. He used the situation to try to get me to ‘behave’ in the divorce. In short, what you are going through is one of the hardest things anyone has to deal with it. I think best not to sugarcoat it.

Are there any family you and your DC could live with? (Check with solicitor first if any impact on your house rights.) Have you told some of your NCT group? There was a point where I suddenly really lent in to asking for help and it really changed the game.

Are there any friends you could ask to stay over often? A couple of weeks of having people hating on him may convince him to move out. (Even if it’s on sofas etc. you will be amazed at what your friends will be willing to do to help you.)

Oh and it will get better. I promise you.
