If you've applied recently, how long did it take? I've had an email saying "by 1st sept" just wondering if its usually quicker.

Hi sorry for the late reply.

Yes I got the email notification from my solicitor the next working day after the court date. I got the conditional order and now I am on the 6 week waiting period

Bemyclementine · 06/09/2023 21:21

So are you awaiting for your confirmation email from the court about the court hearing?

denpark · 06/09/2023 21:34

Wonder if anyone can help me. I can apply for my conditional order now but my ex is refusing to attend the mediation appointment for finances, so that part isn't yet resolved. Can I apply for the conditional order and then ask the court to make him settle finances? He's being such a bastard.

peanutbutterkid · 07/09/2023 07:57

Are you at stage where you paid for the divorce 20 weeks ago & now get to apply for next stage?

Any part you can do now, I would get on with it. There's so much waiting around.

If you can't agree finances without mediation, and if he won't attend mediation, then you have to resort to solictor advice AFAIK.

Bemyclementine · 07/09/2023 10:36

@Danidutch yes, just waiting for that. Hopefully today!

Yes. I've done my 20 week wait and can now apply for the conditional order. He's refusing to upload his financial documents to the mediator so I may have to take it to court but I was wondering if applying for the conditional order now is ok?

My daughter applied for conditional order on 6 September and was told would hear by 4 October. Chased and told another 4 weeks as backlog

Megacrisis · 16/10/2023 00:21

So you daughter CO is taking about 8weeks? :-( when i phoned the hmcts, they said 6-10weeks. STBEH submitted the application for CO on 27Sep after so much delay. Not sure what happened since August as everyone seems to have got a lot quicker.

Danidutch · 16/10/2023 03:58

I applied for my final order on Friday, still waiting.

Bemyclementine · 16/10/2023 10:54
