A close friend is trying to divorce her husband who refuses to leave the marital home. They are both on the mortgage and he is on the birth certificate for their 3 year old.
Her husband does not work, he is being verbally abusive and threatening, he is bringing their 3 year old son home at 10pm and doing everything he can to ruin her mental health. Her son has just recently been diagnosed with autism and has been greatly affected by this.
Can anyone give any advice on what to do?
I have suggested moving out to get away from the situation and stopping the father from seeing the child until it goes to court as the child is being severely affected and the mother is having a breakdown.
Not sure if this is the right advice. But if anyone has struggled to get their husband out the house and has been in a similar situation I’d really appreciate some advice
