How to prove child maintenance for mortgage

If my STBX buys me out and I buy my own house how do I prove to my mortgage lender that he will pay me child maintenance because he wouldn't be paying it until I move house.

A friend recently went through this, her broker said some banks accept it at 100% of the value of payments, some at 50%. A lot wanted either a court order as proof or bank statements showing the payments I think from memory.

Worth speaking to a mortgage broker, they'll know what lenders need which proof!

Nationwide accepted a letter from my ex H saying what he would be paying.

@IneedanewTV oh that's great to know. Thats the sort of thing I was hoping for. I completely trust he will pay it. It's just hard to prove it.

@bibbityboppityboo no not court ordered. He has agreed to pay what the gov CM calculator says. Plus money to cover school holiday childcare. Yeah ages ago when I spoke to a broker they said they want 3 months of bank statements but it just occurred to me that why would he be paying me before I've moved.
