STBXH no longer represented by solicitor

We have a date for the FDR in early September. Ex has been obstructive throughout and we are now at the stage whereby further questionnaires have been exchanged.

There’s some bank accounts we are still requesting sight of which he has continuously failed to produce. He is no longer being represented and has contacted my solicitor with a silly offer in the hope of this not going to court. What does his lack of representation mean for me going forward?

Looks like you’ll go to court to get it sorted, if you don’t like his offer, and this messing about by him won’t be looked on very favourably.

It doesn’t mean much. If he’s being disruptive and uncooperative you can try to claim costs. Your solicitors will have to do the legwork, ie preparing the bundle etc for court. You can also make him an offer.
