Hello,
Wondering if anyone here has had any experience of the Financial Investigation Unit part of the Child Maintenance Service?
I have finally got them to look at my exs income after years of financial abuse from him. They’ve said he is now coming in to see them for an interview. Is this is positive sign? I don’t hold out much hope as they seem completely ineffectual and he always gets away with not paying somehow, despite having earnings of over £150k.

What was outcome of sra? Did they investigate? Does he actually pay now? @Pixieb34

No, he still doesn’t pay! He owes over £10,000 in unpaid maintenance.
He is being investigated again but he just keeps stalling everything, tying them up in red tape with legal questions. He must spends hours and hours of his time attempting to avoid providing for his own kids. The whole system needs overhauling.
I won’t give up though, even if I don’t get a penny of the maintenance my children should have had, I won’t make it easy for him to get away with it!!

But you reported him to SRA did they not intervene?? How is he still allowed to practice as a solicitor surely his behaviour isn’t what is expected from SRA conduct?? @Pixieb34
