How did you cope during your divorce

I am finding my divorce so hard, it’s been going on for nearly three years and we are still living together . I am so anxious all the time and absolutely dread getting a solicitors letter , can’t sleep or concentrate on work scared of the future . I somehow manage to function and appear ok for my children. Any tips for coping during this process ?

No but watching with interest. We only did 7 months in same house and to be honest thst was the hardest.

really the only way to end the stress is to complete the divorce. If there is no end to it then you have nothing to look forward to. Otherwise the usual things will reduce stress and anxiety. Good diet, fresh air, exercise and relaxation. This can be augmented by medication but you should try the non medical interventions first.

Why are you finding it so hard to divorce. Three years is a long time to not reach an agree. What are the sticking points.

Thank you . We tried mediation and that didn’t work and are now going via solicitors , it was taking him months to reply . I got scared along the way as he was demanding 50/50 childcare and I didn’t want that due to lots of reasons .
