Hello

this is my first post on here however I have been reading for a while under a different name.

I have been with my husband ( who is from a different country but now lives in Uk) for over 10 years and have 3 kids. I have been so unhappy for many years and should have left a long time ago. It’s got to the point now where my eldest doesn’t even like their dad!

I have made the decision to end the marriage but struggling to start the conversation. How do you start such a big, life changing conversation? Any suggestions please share xx

I think it helped me having therapy for a while before I told him.

Sorry to hear of what you are going through. Do you never have any arguments? The reason I ask is that I have ended up telling my husband that I can’t live with him anymore which pretty much delivered the message during one of our many recent arguments. I too am married to a man originally from the EU and have been married for almost 10 years. We are going to separate - I know it is difficult to bring up because once you do, it can begin to set everything in motion. Can you begin by talking about some of his behaviours that make you so unhappy?
