C1A form - Family Court

HalinaE · 01/03/2023 08:04

My daughter has received a C100 form and a C1A form from her ex partner and need to respond asap. However, she only has a scanned in copy of this form from his solicitors, nothing from the courts. I don't think she should be attempting to fill in a print out of his scanned in copy, so how do people normally respond to these documents? Do people normally get the court documents (i.e. the C1A form) directly from the court? If you have been through this process, can you please explain what you did. It is all very confusing, and very urgent.

Completing a scanned copy is absolutely fine. The courts do everything online and by email now anyway so no need for handwritten original copies or anything like that. If your daughter has a solicitor they should go through the form with her.

My husband did not respond to my c1a
the court have now listed a directions hearing where I must detail my abuse and this time he’s ordered to respond to each point in a statement

basically she is not obliged to respond to the c1a at all

it will all be dealt with either way

have you got cafcass calls scheduled?

HalinaE · 05/03/2023 20:03

Cafcass called scheduled for Thursday. Thank you for your reply.

Oh, also you wait to be served from the court
that’s when it’s official
not when it comes from his solicitor

i had all this panic myself
turns out it wasn’t even listed when I got it from his solicitor

are the allegations disputed by your daughter?

HalinaE · 07/03/2023 10:06

I telephoned the court and they said that they were not sending out the papers and that her partners solicitor was doing this.
Yes, we are challenging the outrageous allegations he has made.
Have completed a C7 and a C1A and sent those to the court and forwarded (at the court's request) to his solicitors.
We are not using a solicitor at the moment because we feel we can handle things currently but will be using our solicitor if, after the CAFCASS telephone interview, it goes further.
Her partner is applying for 50/50 access arrangements (our grandson is 5) and they separated late August 2022. There are recreational drug use issues on her partners part which he seems to be currently denying.
