STBXH who has been delaying the divorce process for months has now announced to the world on social media that he is in a new relationship.
He has failed to inform our 3 teenage DC who have found out via the grapevine and are understandably hurt.
Here for a hand-hold and any advice on how this will impact the divorce process.

I’d stay out of it other than to tell him he should treat his children with but more Courtesy and respect

Why should it impact the divorce process?

It won't effect the divorce but it will effect his relationship with his children

This happened to my sister and her teenage Dc. Unfortunately it didn’t get any better, he continued to put things on SM without ever thinking about his Dc. (Holidays with new woman and her Dc whilst never taking his own Dc anywhere expect his front room).
It is very hurtful behaviour but I don’t think theres anything you can do.

My sister did admit that at least the children were finding out what an utter Cunt their father was, as she’d tried to shield them. They have a very limited contact with him now as they feel he just doesn’t care about them.

Hi..

Sad and disappointing he didn't have a bit more respect for you and your children.

Continue to support your family and they will have the respect for you going forward. He will not have done himself any favours with his relationship with the children and therefore your support probably will be even more important.
If they choose to contact him with their feelings about this I am inclined to say let him deal with that and you be ready to pick up some of the pieces.

Wishing you well for the future.
