How many solicitors does it take to sell a house in divorce case?

Does anyone know how this works - so if we are selling our house we need solicitor no. 1 - instructed by both of us? Then I assume we each need a solicitor for our new purchases, so solicitors 2 and 3. We are hoping to use Wikivorce for the financial order, so I presume they then give the details of the order to solicitor no. 1 to pay us the monies from the sale as laid out in the financial order?

So 4 different people? I think I've got this wrong somewhere - surely not? Also posting this in Property thread.

Hi....

Absolutely like that.
We have just sold our home. Monies currently with conveyancing solicitor. Financial agreement made, they get instruction to send cash to wherever and then you use another solicitor for onward purchase.

As you are doing divorce yourself I am not sure how that works for transfer of monies, my solicitor is dealing with that.

Good luck with the next part of your journey.
