Financial payout under new divorce laws

Has anyone experienced having the funds from a house sale being released prior to the divorce being finalised?

I'm about to yes.

House sale completing this week. Granted Nisi but ex and I still doing paperwork for financial order. Ex and I both in conveyancing process for separate onward properties.

But mine is a "straightforward" divorce and financial agreement. Short marriage, no dependents and house only asset that we are both in agreement for 50/50 split

I'm buying ex husband out in 2 stages around 3 years apart. We do have a long ish marriage and young children. My solicitors have said it's ok to release the money to him (on the first stage) once the consent order has been signed by him
