How long for consent order to be approved

My solicitor lodged our consent order on Tuesday. I just wondered roughly how long other people's had taken to be approved? Google says 6-10 weeks is this accurate? And then another 2-3 weeks for the absolute?

Sounds about right to me. My divorce took around this time in 2017

I am also wondering how long the process is. It’s all so frustrating and confusing

I did mine 2020 and if I remember right I applied in the end of June and decree came end September start or October. There was a lot of catch up from covid too

@HiKelsey was that just for the financial order to be signed off or for child arrangements as well?

Depends if you're using the online divorce system or the older route. Online - should be quicker for both. Older route could be longer!

I know it took us a bit longer because he wouldn't agree to child arrangements and in the end I agreed to take nothing financial to get the child arrangement I wanted. It was all done online and they were signed off pretty quickly once we had decided
