How easy to finalise financial agreement myself?

I am halfway through coming to a financial agreement and have literally run out of money. I simply cannot afford further legal fees.

How difficult would it be for me to finish it off myself? We are just at the stage of having submitted Form Es and thrashing out a split. Don't even know where to go from there but I'm fairly clever....!

Well I'm hoping to do mine myself!

You just need a consent order which I believe you can just print off the government website

If your in agreement I think it's fairly straightforward. I used a solicitor but a friend recently did hers by herself.

If I'd not gone via a solicitor I don't think I'd have got such a fair split. I'd really not realised the value of his pension.

We are almost there so I have all the information but have just run out of cash.

I suppose his solicitor can submit the order if i thrash out the deal.

eek!

Someone needs to lay off the alcohol. Did you think you were name changing through that conversation with yourself @PerkyPearlPoster

If you can thrash out a split between you you can do it yourselves ( although personally I’d get solicitor to draft the consent order to avoid any risk of errors later )
