Who prepares a bundle for First Hearing? Applicant, respondent or both?

Quick question. Who prepares a bundle for the First Hearing of the C100 application?

I am the applicant. I don’t have a barrrister.

He, the respondent is bringing a barrister.

I have prepared my position statement very carefully. Four people proof read it for me & lots of edits. All professional people. M

Today I got an email from his solicitor. They prepared a bundle (which doesn’t include his position statement yet). Timeline of events and huge amount of inaccuracies and twisting my words entirely. They aren’t even my words at all.

They want me to reply by Friday to say if I agree or not with the things mentioned.

Should they have prepared a bundle?

What if we both prepare a bundle?

Also, from the letter from the court, from what I understand, they specifically said that no bundle is required.

Should I respond to every little bit of nonsense they wrote?

Or should I politely let them know that they will receive my position statement three days beforehand, which includes an accurate timeline.

The court date is next week Thursday.

Hi

I believe it is stated that if one party is unrepresented and the other is then its the other parties representations responsibility to completed the bundle. I think you both have to agree what is contained in the bundle, however unsure if one is needed at the first hearing. Ive only been through financial resolution court process and it was not required for the FDH. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of child hearings will come along and advise. good luck
