Is my salary enough to separate.

Honest opinion. I don’t deal with the financial side of things so I am unsure…I have a new job to start soon.
I will be earning 28k per year before deductions (living in West Midlands), I have no debts, no credit cards or finances. Is this enough to support myself and my 2 children? I’d need a fresh start to find a place to live, finance a car and pay for school wrap around care too etc.
Thanks :)

If you need to leave then leave whether your on 28k or on benefits

You cut your cloth to fit it accordingly. The world at the minute is a farce with living costs irrespective.

That does not or should not stop you from separating if you've checked out. It's unfair on everyone to stay for any reason if you don't want it anymore.

Your children's father should pay child maintenance, too.
