Ex will not respond to exchange requests for Financial Form E

I have gone through a very acrimonious divorce and now I want to finalise everything by completing the Financial Remedy form. I have done all the paperwork, and the court has given us a first hearing date. My ex is ignoring my attempts to get an agreement on an exchange date for Form E. I can't afford a solicitor. Does anyone know (for certain) if my ex continues to ignore my requests to agree to an exchange date, (to comply with the court instructions) do I still need to send her my completed form (and documents) when I file to the court?

You can get a "penal notice" atatched to the request for form E such that legal action can be taken if it is not done.

Ultimately it can result in the possibility of being sent to prison.

i AM NOT A SOLICITOR so I don't know how you get the penal notice organised but I'm sure it must be out there if you google or go to wikivorce and ask - I'm just another frustrated person going through divorce with a spouse who is determined to prolong the process as much as possible.

I informed her that she could be liable for court costs and she has now replied and agreed to an exchange. Thanks to all of you for your help.
