Nurses/nhs shift workers how do you share children 50/50

Hi all, just starting separation and just wondering where to start with deciding childrens living arrangements when I'm a shift worker. I can request my shifts however I have no idea how to go about choosing what days the kids are where or where to even start. My stbxh works 9-5 all week and has every other Friday or Saturday off.

Would love to hear other peoples arrangements. Thanks 😊

Can you possible have set shifts or work term time only?
The nhs isn't family friendly however much it tries

Half terms aren't really much of a problem as the children are older can be left/ arrange play dates in holidays and I generally work at weekends or so split nights so I'm still at home but sleeping. I can't do set shifts as such maybe 1 regular a week but still need to be flexible and work a mixture of days/nights/weekends!

@betterno1
What is the father requesting?
Given he has a set pattern, if it went to court he'd most likely be awarded every other weekend. So that's presumably your starting point? Would he be likely to want midweek over nights?

We have agreed 50/50 split which im
Happy with just needing help with working this around my shift work and 12.5 hr shifts it's proving tricky.
