Want to leave but feeling very guilty and scared

Hi, I have been married for 10y to DH. He is lovely, and adores me but I considering leaving and this really scares me. I feel selfish because I am going to shatter his bubble and it would be really messy (and expensive) and I can't find any real reason for this apart from this is what I feel I need to do. Has anyone been in a similar situation and could give advice? x

I'm kind of in a similar situation myself. We've had some difficulties but I haven't actually said I want to divorce him yet because I'm so worried about upsetting him. I can't bear the thought of it. I'm sorry I don't have any practical advice for you really! The only thing I can say is that if it is what you feel would be right for you then you have to do it. We only have one life and it's too much to waste it not being happy. Do you have kids? Why do you think you're considering ending it?
