Custody of children

I want to assess my chances of a lives with order.

Child is 4.
Husband does a lot of weed and is being drug tested. He lied about doing weed in court.
I'm primary carer.
There is a history of abuse and he's been arrested.
He won't let us leave the country to go on holiday for no good reason other than to exercise control.

Does anyone have experience with child arrangements orders?

Hi, I do have an agreed order and based on what you said I can't see why you shouldn't be able to apply for one with the courts.

Also I believe you can travel with your child abroad as long as it isn't for more than 28 days... He cannot be controlling or stopping you from taking your child on holiday. Obvs double check as I might be wrong but from memory that's the case - although I made sure to include that in my order!
