Advice about hurrying up a decree nisi in an abusive situation

I wonder if anyone has any advice about how to speed up the issuing of a decree nisi.
I have been going through a very long and horrible divorce from a highly coercive Stbx.
My lawyers applied for the decree nisi late and then didn't include 2 documents so it was refused in March after a 5 month wait.
But my FDR happened on 15th December but I understand I have no rights to enforce the key points in that FDR without the decree nisi. So all my efforts to divorce are still on hold.
At times it has felt as though my husbands lawyers are bribing the system. Is that at all possible??
It has been a highly abusive situation and I have paid a high cost to extricate from him, and my children are severely caught in the middle.
Any advice about how to hurry this up would be most appreciated.

I’m sorry to hear this. How can solicitors miss adding docs to your petition. Really the petition is very easy to do yourself and now they’ve screwed up something so basic? I divorced on unreasonable behaviour last year, raised petition myself…from petition to ABSOLUTE. ( now final):took less than 3 months.
I’d be looking at new solicitors and refusing to pay bill for screwing up something so basic
I will add that new changes to divorce law has now meant that there is now NO reason for anyone to use solicitors to do application- that is one of key points.
I don’t know your situation, but I am honestly really shocked
