Decree absolute applied for after the 12 month deadline

After months of negotiations and waiting for the court to approve the consent order, this was finally approved... but meant I was 11 days after the 12 month application period for the decree absolute. I have submitted a statement but not hear anything back. Does anyone know if a statement is likely to be accepted or if I will have to start the divorce again?

The delays were a combination of exH changing his mind several times on the consent order and backlog in the courts.

Situation is becoming unbearable and feel like I am breaking so any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

It's at the court's discretion whether they'll extend the time limit and I am sure in your case it is more than reasonable for them to extend. I understand that the backlogs have been horrendous due to the pandemic.
