Anyone else biting their tongue, and on a countdown to the new year ?

The only thing getting me through is knowing that this is the last year I’ll have to do Xmas with him.

@GoodnightGrandma I am finding this week unbearable. The atmosphere at home is vile despite me telling him so many times we have to pretend to be happy and festive for the sake of our daughter who doesn't know yet .

I have mixed feelings about this being our last Christmas together....some days I'm sad then others I think at least we won't be having the usual arguments next year.

As I know he'll be leaving after Christmas I am biting my tongue an awful lot as I just think what's the point in arguing anymore.

Never felt less Christmassy in my life x

We made the decision in Nov but he wanted to wait and tell the kids after Christmas. I am biding my time and whilst being polite, I am not putting on an act as I don't want it to come as a complete shock to them. It is exhausting but am biting my tongue lots too, I don't need to waste my time and energy arguing anymore, my decision is firm. He has agreed to be the one to move but says he is in no rush to find anywhere. I know the next hurdle of telling the kids will be painful.
