I have been through a very long and painful divorce. My details are as following if someone can advice or having same situation.

Marriage lasted 7 years and then we fall out, we had a mediation process during our divorce case and we mutually agreed to get divorced.

We have no kids.

The property we used to live is solely on my name from begining, I paid its deposit, mortgage installment, all the bills and maintanance. She had no financial contribution whatsoever.

We agreed that i would pay her x amount by the end of the Dec 2020 and she would buy or rent a new property and move out of my property. I have already paid agreed X amount before Dec 2020.

I got my decree absolute and we have financial consent order stating all these points and my lawyer said that its clean break up divorce that no party can claim any thing from each other. I thought it would the end of the story.

Due to covid, we agree during one mediation meeting that my ex-wife would stay in the same house for six months as a sharing tenant in one room and she would pay me rent for it. I had to ask for rent many times and she paid me for a few months but irregularly. Then in April 2021 she stopped me paying at all..after Dec 2020, i gave her too many notices to leave the house but she keep promising to move out but never moved out. She gave me so many dates of leaving the house but she is not moving out. She is not paying rent as well.

I been so kind to her allowing her to stay in the house, never been hard on her so she can find a good place for her to live, but she took me as granted. Now she is saying that she will never move out and she will not pay any rent as well.

I had very serious medical condition and i am classified highly vularable by NHS and gone thorugh two years of very tough treatment. I'm so mentally broken and exhausted to take this anymore.

I dont know what should i do and my rights? she is threanting me that if i try to remove her from the house she will file a case against me.

I think i have provided all the details, still if you think to know more in order to suggest me something, please ask.

So you're divorced with no children, your ex-wife has no claim on your house, no rental contract, and refuses to leave.

What is stopping you from packing up her stuff while she is out, leaving it outside and changing the locks on your property?
