Reasonable London divorce lawyer plus debt?

Hello could anyone please DM me if you have used a reasonably priced London divorce lawyer. No hugely complicated assets but custody could be an issue.

Also, although I know you look at dividing assets such as pensions, equity etc, do you have joint liability for debts? My 'D'H ran up big debts on various things including cam girls without telling me. They are only in his name but while we are married he has a financial connection with me obviously. Are these taken into account for child maintenance?

I am based in London used a solicitor based in Wales. We agreed things between ourselves so unlikely will need to go to court. Which funnily enough is in Birmingham so not London anyway . From what I have heard most court being done remotely due to covid likely to be that way for a while. She was a quarter of the price although I did this knowing if I had to go to court would go alone but this doesn't intimidate me as long as have suitable advice/ prep

Yes your ex could ask for the debt to be divided. Doesn't mean it will be, only that he can request it.

Exactly how much money has he spent on these cam girls (sic) ?????

Just under £1000 all in. There are no words for how revolting it all is.

I have statements showing what it was spent on though so surely a judge would see that was not family expenditure??

Sorry to jump into this, but just discovered that my husband has £100k worth of debt (apart from the joint mortgage!) will this be split 50:50? Note that this is just on his name and purely linked to his trading/gambling addiction not money spent on the family. Any idea?

We had all debts dealt with in the Financial Order. They were listed and it stated who paid them.

The Financial Order also dealt with maintenance. I assume you could agree amongst yourself rather than go to a solicitor and get an order.

(We didn't use the CmS)..
